However, I have a few thoughts to share. In India, it is important that youth who have attained a social status need to learn about the grassroot lives. also, we have youth from the grassroots who need windows of opportunity to learn the 'developed' side. I feel this process should at both these streams of youth for participation in "grassroutes". The other is, while it is necessary to share learnings and experiences, care should be taken about the following: reduction of the entire process to reporting, wrong reporting and delinking from the learning process of that life after coming back.

D. I wonder what's the latest? Care to share so those who wants to join may have the will because a result has been known.

Re: Join the Action

Prasanna, Sorry for delay in response.

We at Grassroutes believe that any change starts from with in. Through this program we are providing young people with a transformational experience which would help them discover their role in changing the country.

We would be very happy to catch up with you and discuss over a cup of coffee. Mail me (keerthikiran@yofa.org) and we could work out a convenient time.

Re: Houses plastered wth dung…bricks made of clay…

This is the true picture of Indian rural society. You need to find a way to truly take advantage of that freedom and flexibility instead of getting lost in it and it sounds like you're doing just that.

Re: Colors of Life :)

nice pics.... varsha tujhe sutta bhot suit karta hai...

Re: Join the Action

seems to be interesting .. i would like to see something radical from you guys..more than videos and documentation on trivial stuffs ... can u bring in a radical , conspicuous change in to people's life .. there seems to be a huge potential in the idea .. would love to see it come true ...
